Grady Little is the new leader of the Red Sox Nation.

What was Grady Little thinking when he finally got his "dream" job -- managing the perennially underachieving Red Sox?

A. "The new GM, whoever he is, has got to be better than Duquette ... doesn't he?"

B. "These new owners, however many there are of them, have got to be better than Harrington ... don't they?"

C. "Since Juraisic Carl is gone, the team can't be as dysfunctional as last year's group ... can it?"

D. "I'm going to study everything Mike Cubbage did ... and then do the opposite. What did that guy last ... a week? I can't do any worse than that ... can I?"

E. "Even if I don't win a championship ... right away ... at least the fans and media should be patient. They're not the type to obsess about how long it's been since they last saw a Red Sox team go all the way ... are they?"

F. "Besides, I'm in the worst division in baseball. Let's see ... there's the Blue Jays, the Orioles, the Devil Rays, and they all stink ... wait a minute, I think I'm forgetting someone ..."
