Kwon is back on the ice and looking back at Nationals

 Dear Diary,

Good news: My knee injury is completely healed. Now when I skate or do off-the-ice training, I don't experience pain. What's even better news is that I finally broke in my skates. I got creases on the sides of my boots. Now all of my jumps and spins are becoming more consistent and cleaner.

Elizabeth Kwon is back on the ice.

Recently, my schedule changed for the last time. I used to skate seven days a week, two sessions in the morning and two sessions in the afternoon. Now I only skate six days a week because I take off Saturday, and I also skate three sessions in a row in the afternoon. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, I go to my tutor and study. The only thing that's stayed the same is that I still work out every day. Now when I work out, I can do all the exercises I used to do, such as leg workouts, hurdles, trampoline, weights, curl-ups and stretches.

My cousin Annette turned nine last Thursday, so I got to spend the night at her home. My uncle, aunt, grandma, Annette and I went out to eat at a Chinese restaurant that night. We got back to Annette's house around 7:30 p.m. I helped Annette with her homework, which was just one math worksheet. Then I helped her memorize three passages for church. We got done at around 11 p.m. After that, we got to play the Michelle Kwan computer game for about half an hour. It was a cool game and we had a fun time playing together. So at 11:30 p.m. we tried to sleep, but we had so much to talk about we didn't sleep until midnight.

After getting to sleep so late we had to get up at 6:30 a.m. We dressed in green for St. Patrick's Day. We packed Annette's lunch together, ate breakfast, and watched TV. It was special to me to celebrate Annette's birthday with her. It is very rare that I get to spend her birthday with her.

I also got some pictures from Ann Jenson from this year's National Championships. The pictures turned out to be very nice. She sends me pictures every year from Nationals. Anyway, I finally finished my first semester. I was really relieved to be finished. I got all A's except for a C + in Math! Math's not my best or favorite subject.

Till next week,

Bye!
