Weir (International) def. Mickelson (U.S.), 4&3
The all-lefty battle was all Weir. Mickelson was the only player on Sunday not to make a birdie, and he bogeyed two of the first three holes. Weir wasn't much better early, making three bogeyes in the first six holes. But he birdied Nos. 8, 10 and 14 to pull away. Weir, a Presidents Cup rookie, was the only International player with a winning record, going 3-2.

Love (U.S.) def. Els (International), 4&3
Saturday, Els said he was looking forward to leaving the Presidents Cup. Sunday, he played like it, bogeying five holes in a loss to Love, who had just two birdies. Els bogeyed three of the final four holes on his way out the door -- becoming the first player ever to go 0-5 in a competition. Love, on the other hand, was 4-0. Going back to the Ryder Cup, Love is 7-0 over his last seven matches.

Woods (U.S.) def. Singh (International), 2&1
The most intense match of the day -- neither was willing to concede putts on a day and both played as if the Cup was at stake. Singh birdied the third with a 30-footer, but Woods came back and matched him. Woods took a 1-up lead at the sixth when Singh double-bogeyed and got it to 2-up with an eagle at the par-4 10th, when he drove the green. Singh got a shot back at No. 13 when Woods bogeyed, but Woods closed out the match with a birdie at 17.

Cink (U.S.) def. Norman (International), 2&1
Cink won all four of his matches in his first Presidents Cup, capping it off with a win over Norman in what may have been the Shark's last international competition. Cink started off with bogeys at the first two holes, but got even when Norman double-boeyed the eighth and took the lead when Norman bogeyed No. 9. Cink had a trio of birdies on the back, including the clincher at No. 17.

Franco (International) def. Sutton (U.S.), 6&5
Franco dominated, then rubbed salt in the wound with a double-eagle from 215 yards out at the par-5 12th. He was 8-under for 13 holes. Sutton watched Franco birdie the second hole and then bogeyed the third and fourth holes himself to go 3-down early. Franco birdied the seventh and eighth and followed his double-eagle with a birdie on No. 13 to halve the hole and close out the match.

Furyk (U.S.) def. Maruyama (International), 5&4
Maruyama was 5-0 at the '98 Presidents Cup, but he was just 1-2 in three matches this year and was spanked by Furyk, who made four birdies and didn't make a bogey. Maruyama, plagued by a balky driver, had four bogeys in the first 10 holes to go 5-down. He added another bogey at the 12th. Furyk was 3-1 in four matches.

Triplett (U.S.) and Campbell (International) halved
Triplett and Campbell traded jabs all day -- bogeys on the front side, which ended with Campbell 2-up, and several birdies on the back. Campbell was 2-up through nine, but Triplett birdied the 10th and 11th to even the match. Campbell birdied the 12th to go 1-up, but bogeyed 13 and watched Triplett birdie 14 to go 1-up. But Triplett gave the lead up with a bogey at 15 and the players matched pars to close out the only halved match of the week. Triplett remained undefeated at 3-0-1 in his first international team play.

Begay (U.S.) def. Goosen (International), 1-up
Begay was 2-down after nine holes and hadn't made a birdie. The sloppy front nine included Goosen winning the par-5 eighth with a bogey, when Begay took double. But Begay birdied the 10th and 12th to square the match, and grabbed the lead with a birdie on the 14th. Goosen got even when Begay bogeyed No. 16, but Begay responded with a birdie on the 17th and par at No. 18 to give the Americans a record-breaking 21½ points.
