BINGHAMTON, New York (Ticker) -- Mike Kinkade hit two home runs and had five RBI to vault the Binghamton Mets over the New Britain Rock Cats, 14-10. Kinkade hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning and added a two-run shot in the seventh. Alex Escobar hit a three-run homer and B.J. Huff hit a two-run shot for Binghamton, which has won eight of its last twelve games. Pete Della Ratta (1-1) was credited with the victory, pitching 2 1/3 innings and giving up two runs and three hits. Mike Ryan had four hits, including a three-run homer, for New Britain. Rafael Alvarez and Jeff Smith hit two-run homers and Tommy Peterman hit a solo home run for the Rock Cats, who have lost four of their last six. Peter Fisher (1-2) suffered the loss, allowing nine runs -- four earned -- and 14 hits in four innings.
