FRESNO, California (Ticker) -- Terrell Lowery hit a grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Fresno Grizzlies snapped their seven-game losing streak with an 11-8 victory over the Edmonton Trappers. Lowery, who leads Fresno with seven home runs, also legged out an RBI triple in the sixth inning. Giuseppe Chiaramonte hit a two-run homer to cap the three-run sixth and Damon Minor launched a seventh-inning grand slam to tie the score at 7-7 for the Grizzlies, who won for just the fifth time in their last 22 games. Winning pitcher Steve Connelly (3-1) allowed a run, two hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings of relief. Keith Luuloa knocked in two runs and Nate Murphy hit a solo homer in the top of the eighth inning to give Edmonton an 8-7 lead. Juan Tolentino went 2-for-4 with three runs and two stolen bases for the Trappers, who lost their third straight game. Lou Pote (0-1), who had not allowed a hit in his first four innings with the club this season, gave up three hits and all four runs in the ninth to take the loss.
