North tops South 17-0 in first shutout since '90

California's Kyle Boller gets the pass off under some pressure from the South during the North's 17-0 romp.
The defenses stole the show as the North beat the South 17-0 in the 54th Annual Senior Bowl. The highlight was a 99-yard interception return for a TD by Notre Dame's Shane Walton. As for Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer, he only saw action in one half but still viewed the week as a positive start to a pro career.
