MOBILE, Ala. -- In preparation for the 2003 Senior Bowl, ESPN.com sat down with Iowa State quarterback Seneca Wallace to get his take on everything from his favorite football moment to his musical tastes as he prepares for a professional football career.
Seneca Wallace: It would be the first part of our season, beating teams like Iowa and Nebraska. Celebrating those wins on the sideline with my team was great. 2. What three CDs are getting the most play in your stereo? Wallace: Tupac, Tyrese and Nivea. 3. What do you think will be the biggest difference between college and pro football? Wallace: Getting used to the speed of the game and understanding the offense will be the biggest things. 4. What's the best and worst part of gameday? Wallace: Going out there and just playing is the best. The worst part is sitting around and waiting. There's not much you can do but sit around and listen to music on the headphones while you go over the script of the game in your mind. 5. Do you think there should be a Division I-A playoff? Wallace: There probably should be one. It's so tough to judge who should be on top the way it is done now. 6. If you could change one thing about college football, what would it be? Wallace: I really don't know what I'd change. Being around the college atmosphere is just a fun thing. 7. If you had to play on the other side of the ball, what position would you want to play? Wallace: I'd like to be a corner. 8. If you couldn't play football, what sport would you pursue? Wallace: Basketball. I played in high school. 9. What player at the Senior Bowl are you looking forward to being on the field with? Wallace: Everybody. There are a lot of big names here and I want to see how everyone performs against the top players in the country. 10. What's your first big purchase after signing a pro contract? Wallace: If I do sign a contract, it will be a car. Something like a Cadillac Escalade. For more information on the 2003 Senior Bowl, go to the official site. |
