Miami quarterback Geno Torretta remembers the look on Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden's face. The No. 1 Seminoles trailed the No. 2 Hurricanes (8-0) 17-16. With 25 seconds to play, FSU kicker Gerry Thomas' 34-yard field goal curved, yep, wide right. "He didn't have a good angle on it," Torretta said of Bowden. "It looked -- I mean, it was close."
