Woods took a two-hole advantage at the Motorola Showdown at Sherwood with a beautiful long putt to win Hole 8.
Both Duval and Woods easily knocked their first shots onto the green of this downhill, par-3, 186-yard Hole 8, leaving it all up to their putts. On Tiger's second shot, a downhill 20-footer, the ball rolled gently and touched the left edge of the cup, standing there for a second before falling in. Duval, from about the same distance from the right side of the green, hit his shot only about 2-3 inches right of the hole.
