ERIE, Pennsylvania (Ticker) -- Jamie Malave highlighted a
seven-run fourth inning with a three-run homer as the Harrisburg
Senators stormed past the Erie SeaWolves, 9-5. Malave, who hit a
solo shot on Thursday, followed Dan McKinley's RBI single to
give Harrisburg a 5-3 lead. Henry Mateo capped the seven-run
outburst with a two-run double for the Senators, who have won
eight of their last 11 games. Jeremy Ware added a two-run blast
in the ninth inning for Harrisburg, which has taken three of
five games against Erie this season. Brandon Agamennone (3-2)
allowed six hits and three runs in five innings to record the
win. Darren Blakely went 4-for-5 with a pair of RBI doubles and
Shawn Wooten, who had his 12-game hitting streak snapped, lofted
a sacrifice fly for the SeaWolves. Losing pitcher Ryan Cummings
(1-1) was tagged for five hits and six runs in only three
innings for Erie, which has alternated losses and wins since
April 27.
