YANTIC, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Paul Ottavinia's two-run double
in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted the Norwich
Navigators past the New Haven Ravens, 4-3, in the first game of
a doubleheader. Ottavinia smacked his seventh double of the
season with two outs. Randy Keisler (3-1), who had not allowed
more than two runs in five consecutive games, tossed a complete
game but gave up three runs on 10 hits. Scott Seabol tied the
game at 2-2 in the second inning with a two-run homer for
Norwich, which has won five of its last seven games. Alex
Fernandez, who went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI, gave New Haven a
3-2 lead on an RBI single in the sixth inning. Kevin Gryboski
(0-1) surrendered three hits and two runs in just one inning of
relief to take the loss.
