TRENTON, New Jersey (Ticker) -- Shea Hillenbrand hit a three-run
homer during a seven-run eighth inning to lead the Trenton
Thunder to a come-from-behind victory over the Altoona Curve,
8-7. Hillenbrand's shot came with Trenton down by two runs and
gave the Thunder a one-run lead. Tony Derosso added two RBI with
a single during the frame and drove in another run with a first
inning fielder's choice. Jeff Taglienti (1-1) picked up the win
tossing two innings of scoreless relief for Trenton, which
committed five errors in the game. Garry Maddox had two hits and
an RBI and Rontrez Johnson added an RBI for Trenton, which has
won five of its last eight games. Alex Hernandez had three hits
and two RBI and Rico Washington had two hits and two RBI for
Altoona, which has lost four of its last six. Brad Guy (1-2)
suffered the loss, giving up three runs and three hits in 2/3
inning.
