WEST HAVEN, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Jake Weber knocked in three
runs and Dwight Maness went 3-for-4 as the New Haven Ravens
claimed their seventh straight victory, a 10-4 triumph over the
Erie SeaWolves. Weber legged out a two-run triple during a
four-run third inning and added an RBI double in the eighth.
Maness, who scored a pair of runs, delivered a run-scoring
single in the fifth inning. Jermaine Clark went 3-for-5 with two
stolen bases and Ramon Vazquez hit a solo homer for New Haven,
which has outscored the opposition, 48-21, during the winning
streak. Greg Wooten (3-2) allowed four runs -- three earned --
and 10 hits over 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win. Shawn Wooten
went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI for Erie, which dropped its
third straight. Paul Morse (1-4) surrendered seven runs -- six
earned -- and six hits in 3 1/3 innings to take the loss.
