OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- With a record of 45-4, the Wildcats of Arizona continued to dominate the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25. Currently riding an eight-game win streak, it marks the third straight week the Pac-10 leader received all 18 first place votes and the fourth consecutive week it sits atop the poll. UCLA follows closely at No. 2 with a 39-5 record, while Big 12 regular season champion Texas lands at No. 3 for the second straight week. The same teams remained in top 10 this week while Arizona State University saw the biggest move dropping from No.11 to No. 15. The Missouri Tigers make their first poll appearance at No. 25 after posting two wins against then No. 9 Nebraska. Illinois dropped out of this week's poll after losing four straight. The ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll is voted on by NCAA Division I coaches representing 15 different ASA regions and 12 different collegiate conferences. The poll is also voted on by selected softball media members. Records are as of April 27th. First-place votes are in parentheses.
