What the heck were security officials at FedEx Field thinking when they used pepper spray on fans during Monday night's Eagles-Redskins game?

"Pass the pepper" took on a whole new meaning in the fourth quarter at FedEx Field.
A. "Oh, no! Look what we've done. The chemicals from the pepper spray have caused these men to grow pig snouts!"

B. "There wasn't actually a fight in the stands. The canister was accidently knocked open by an errant Shane Matthews pass."

C. "We were absolutely, positively out of mace."

D. "Don't worry. This is straight out of Manchester United's crowd control handbook."

E. "Compared to the $100 you dropped to watch this game, you've barely been violated."
