RECAP
OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- Ruben Sierra hit a three run homer in
the bottom of the ninth inning to lead the Oklahoma Redhawks to
a come from behind victory over the Omaha Golden Spikes, 12-10.
Sierra, who had four hits and four RBI, hit his second homer of
the season to cap a five-run ninth. Scott Livingstone had two
hits and an RBI and Kelly Dransfeldt and Cliff Brumbaugh both
drove in two runs for the Redhawks, who have won four of their
last five games. Pedro Valdez had three hits for Oklahoma and
has hit safely in 12 straight games. Matt Miller (3-0) picked up
the win, pitching 1 2/3 innings of hitless ball. Les Norman had
an RBI and four hits, including a triple, and Hector Ortiz
homered and had three RBI for Omaha, which has lost seven of its
last eight games. Lance Carter (0-4) took the loss, allowing two
runs and two hits in 1/3 inning.
