OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Finishing the regular season with a 50-5 overall record and the Pac-10 Conference title, the Arizona Wildcats continued their stint at No. 1 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll for the week of May 5-11. For the fifth straight week, the Wildcats received all 18 first place votes after wins over then No. 5 California, No. 2 UCLA, and No. 7 Washington.

In this week's poll the 46-5-1 DePaul Blue Demons enter the top five for the first time this season after capturing the Conference USA tournament crown. California dropped from No. 5 to No. 7 after losses to No.1 Arizona, No. 18 Oregon and Oregon State.

Iowa made a jump from No. 23 to No. 21 this week after taking home the Big 10 Tournament championship with a 2-0 win over Northwestern in the finals.

The final ESPN.com/USA Today Collegiate Top 25 poll will be announced May 27 after the conclusion of the NCAA Women's College World Series.

The ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll is voted on by NCAA Division I coaches representing 15 different ASA regions and 12 different collegiate conferences. The poll is also voted on by selected softball media members. Records are as of May 11. First-place votes are in parentheses.
