The Tigers activated RHP Kenley Jansen (groin) off the 10-day injured list, selected the contract of RHP Jacob Waguespack and added OF James Outman to the active roster. All three players are available in the series opener at Cleveland. To make room on the active roster, RHP Beau Brieske was optioned to Triple-A Toledo, INF Zack Short was designated for assignment and RHP Brenan Hanifee was optioned to Triple-A.
