The Jets have placed DE Jermaine Johnson on the active/PUP list ahead of training camp. This was an expected move. Johnson is 10 months removed from Achilles surgery, but he's expected to be ready for Week 1. He can be activated from the PUP list as soon as he passes the physical. The former first-round pick is one of the key players on defense.
