The German Football Federation announces that coveted dual national defender Noahkai Banks has chosen to represent Germany over the United States and will play for Germany's U-21 team in upcoming matches. Banks had previously represented the U.S. at U-17, U-19 and U-20 level. He'll need to file a one-time change of association with FIFA.
Banks was born in Honolulu, but raised in Germany, and currently plays for Bundesliga side FC Augsburg.
