Sources tell ESPN that Philadelphia Union attacker Cavan Sullivan has been called up to the U.S. men's national team for the September/October FIFA international window. The window will feature games against Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada.
If Sullivan, who turns 17 on Sept. 28, makes his international debut in any of those matches, he will be the second youngest player to play for the USMNT, behind only Freddy Adu. Adu first appeared for the USMNT at 16 years, 243 days.
