After two injury-crossed seasons, the Broncos formally cut ties with linebacker Drew Sanders. Sanders was waived Tuesday from the reserve/injured list. Sanders, a third-round pick in the 2023 draft, appeared in just four games over the last two seasons. Sanders did not practice again after he was injured in his lone appearance in a preseason game last month. When the Broncos waived him when the roster went to 53 players, coach Sean Payton said "it’s difficult because you watch ... the effort.''
