When the full allotment of defensive starters was in Friday night's preseason opener in Atlanta, the Broncos' defense surrendered just 25 net yards in the first four Falcons' possessions of the game combined. And when a more mix-and-match look began with the Atlanta's fifth possession, the Broncos ended that Atlanta drive with cornerback Jahdae Barron's 97-yard interception return for a touchdown. Overall, the Broncos held the Falcons to 21 or fewer net yards in 11 of the 12 Atlanta possessions.
