The Broncos released S Taylor Rapp Wednesday, just six days after Rapp had signed and the Broncos had plans to have him on their 53-player roster after Sunday's league-wide cut-down day. Broncos coach Sean Payton said Rapp "needs a little time at home ... this came up and it was something he needed to address.'' Payton added there is a "better than good chance'' the Broncos will re-sign Rapp as quickly as possible when Rapp is ready to return.
