Broncos coach Sean Payton said after Monday's practice the Broncos had hoped TE Justin Joly would clear waivers so Joly could be brought back to the practice squad. He said "it's hard to predict,'' who will be claimed and "if (Joly) is not claimed ... we felt strong he's coming back to our practice squad.'' Payton also said the other rookie TE draft pick -- Dallen Bentley in the 7th round -- "earned'' a roster spot with his work in training camp and preseason.
