Sunday's game against Carolina is one of just two the Broncos currently have this season with an 11 a.m. kickoff (Mountain time) -- their Dec. 13 game at the Jets is the other unless flexed later. The Broncos will travel Friday after practice and do their usual Saturday work in the Charlotte area. The Broncos are 3-1 in games in Payton's tenure in that early kickoff slot in the Eastern time zone. Asked Wednesday about it, Payton said: "We’re not going to Europe, we’re going to Charlotte.''
