Broncos coach Sean Payton said after Wednesday's practice the team elected nine captains this year. Offense: QB Bo Nix. G Quinn Meinerz, WR Courtland Sutton. Defense: CB Pat Surtain II, DT D.J. Jones, LB Alex Singleton, S Talanoa Hufanga. Special teams: S Devon Key, K Wil Lutz. It's the eight captains from last season with Key, a first-team All Pro selection on special teams last season, as the new addition.
