NEWS: Big Ten officials are expected to discuss in the upcoming days a league-wide mandate to not play Texas Tech in any sports, per three Big Ten sources. This is in the wake of Nebraska AD Troy Dannen informing his staff today that they aren't allowed to schedule Texas Tech. University of Georgia AD Josh Brooks made a similar decision earlier today with Georgia's sports not allowed to schedule Texas Tech.

Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark to ESPN: “The ramifications of today’s ruling are significant and could have broad impacts across college athletics, creating great concern amongst our membership. I’ve been consulting with our key stakeholders and have scheduled meetings with our Conference ADs and Executive Board this week. We are also in touch with Charlie Baker and anticipate the NCAA to appeal the order in the next 24-48 hours. We will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation.”

NCAA Statement: "The NCAA strongly disagrees with the court’s ruling in Sorsby's case and is deeply concerned about the damaging, far-reaching and broadly destabilizing ramifications of this outcome — which undermines and corrupts the integrity of sports. The NCAA is committed to supporting student-athlete mental health but must continue to aggressively defend against actions that defraud college athletics and threaten competitive integrity, such as betting on one's own sport."

Sources: Purdue AD Mike Bobinski is set to retire from Purdue, with plans for his retirement to come on Dec. 31. He's overseen Purdue during the school's dominant run of men's basketball, with Purdue's Final Four in 2024 the school's first since 1980. He also hired Jeff Brohm in football. He’s been the athletic director at Purdue since 2016. He was prior the athletic director at Georgia Tech, Xavier and Akron.

North Carolina State's opening game against Virginia will no longer be held in Brazil. UVA will host the game, which was scheduled for Week 0. They are waiting on confirming a game date and time.
