Western Kentucky has named Rodney Tisdale Jr. the starting quarterback, per ESPN sources. He beat out Florida State transfer Brock Glenn for the starting job. Tisdale started the final six games for WKU last year, and won Conference USA Freshman of the Year. WKU opens at Nevada and then goes to Georgia and Indiana.
Tisdale Jr. is a redshirt sophomore who was productive for WKU last year, throwing for 1,432 yards and nine touchdowns and adding 108 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
