Sources: Texas Tech has agreed to new naming rights deal with Galaxy that will re-name the school’s football stadium Galaxy Stadium starting in 2026. The agreement is for 15 years and will include NIL opportunities. This will essentially be a completely new revenue stream for Texas Tech. The stadium was previously named after AT&T, which frontloaded money to Tech for stadium renovations in the early 2000s. That meant virtually no stadium rights revenue in recent years.

He’s the former athletic director at Miami, Clemson and Georgia Tech and one of the most respected leaders in the athletic director space.

Boston College tight end Kaelan Chudzinski is expected to miss the season with an Achilles injury, Bill O’Brien told ESPN. Chudzinski emerged as one of the country’s top freshman tight ends in 2025 and projected as a starter for the Eagles this year. O'Brien said that Chudzinski is expected back in January. "If you asked him, he’d tell you he’s not out for the season," O'Brien said with a laugh. He had 24 catches for 313 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman.
