The Jets' QB situation is dire. Tyrod Taylor (groin) and Justin Fields (knee) aren't practicing Wednesday, so rookie Brady Cook will get the first-team reps in practice. Aaron Glenn wouldn't say Cook will start Sunday against the Jaguars; he wants to see how the week progresses. As insurance, the Jets re-signed Adrian Martinez to their practice squad. Martinez was cut Tuesday by the 49ers. Could the Jets roll out a Cook-Martinez tandem on Sunday? Shades of their final preseason game.
