The Jason Sanders-Cade York kicking competition is over. Jets special teams coordinator Chris Banjo announced Tuesday that Sanders "has won the job." At the same time, the Jets waived York, who had a dreadful practice on Monday. Banjo said he feels "really, really good about where Jason is at." He also cited Sanders' experience in the AFC East as a factor in the decision. Sanders kicked for the Dolphins from 2018 to 2024.
