Willie Weinbaum
Diego Segui, who died Wed. at 87, had a role in a historic K.C. A's game, 9/25/65. He relieved 59-year-old Satchel Paige, who'd thrown 3 scoreless, one-hit innings vs. Boston in becoming the oldest player ever to appear in an MLB game. Paige, who hadn't pitched in the majors in 12 years, left to an ovation at the start of the 4th & Segui pitched the next 4 innings .
