ESPN CALLING ALL DREAMERS FOR DREAM JOB:
CASTING FOR SEASONS TWO AND THREE TO BEGIN JUNE 29
Help Wanted: SportsCenter Anchor and Play-by-Play Announcer
Sports fans with aspirations of being a SportsCenter anchor or
calling
play-by-play on ESPN will get a chance to follow in the footsteps of
Dream Job winner Mike Hall, who will be making his SportsCenter
debut in
July, by trying out for seasons two and three of the network's hit
reality series. At stake this time, SportsCenter anchor and play-by-
play
announcer positions. Auditions for both shows will be held during
a
nationwide casting tour that will start June 29 in New York.
Hosted by Stuart Scott, the second season of Dream Job will debut
Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. ET. The one-hour show will be aired
Tuesdays
at 7 p.m. for nine weeks with the winner being named the newest
SportsCenter anchor. The third season will search for a play-by-
play
announcer and will be aired beginning February, 2005. Both
elimination-style shows will consist of a panel of judges with
viewers
voting on contestants' aptitudes in various sports-related tasks.
The initial casting tour will visit 14 major U.S. cities, concluding in
Orlando, Fla. on July 30. Finals will be held August 9-11 in New
York.

Many of the finalists from Dream Job's first season successfully
advanced from one of the cities listed for this year's tour including
Hall, who had auditioned in St. Louis. Orlando, Florida and Raleigh,
North Carolina will make their debut on the casting tour. Other
