ESTERO, Florida (Ticker) -- Reggie Berg had a goal and an assist as the Florida Everblades defeated the South Carolina Stingrays, 6-3. Berg scored a power-play tally with three seconds remaining in the first period to give Florida a 4-2 lead and assisted on Kevin Hartnell's shorthanded marker earlier in the frame. Tom Buckley and Andy MacIntyre both delivered a goal and an assist and Marc Magliarditi stopped 20 shots to pick up the win as the Everblades improved to 5-2-0 in their last seven contests. Greg Schmidt finished with a goal and an assist for South Carolina, which lost its fifth straight road game. Jody Lehman suffered the loss allowing six goals on 37 shots.
