PENSACOLA, Florida (Ticker) -- Kurt Drummond scored early in the third period to break a tie as the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks edged the Pensacola Ice Pilots, 3-2. Drummond broke a 14-game goalless drought 6:24 into the final frame as Tallahassee improved to 3-2-0 versus Pensacola this season. Benoit Dusablon and Jim Baxter scored second-period goals to give the Tiger Sharks a 2-1 lead after two periods. Jonathan Gagnon scored 4:45 into the third to tie the game 2-2 for the Ice Pilots before Drummond provided the winner for Tallahassee. Aron Miller made 24 saves to earn the win for the Tiger Sharks. Allan Egeland also scored for Pensacola, which lost for the ninth time in ten games (1-9-0), while David Belitski allowed three goals on 23 shots to suffer the loss.
