ESPN Fantasy Projection: After an uneven first two seasons in the majors, both of which nevertheless concluded with good-looking final stat lines, Albies appears primed to take the next step forward in 2020. He boosted his walk rate from 5.3% to 7.7%, his Statcast average exit velocity from 86.3 to 88.8 mph and stroked 29% line drives after the All-Star break, signs that he was finally flourishing at the plate after enduring some early-career adjustments. As is, Albies finished 2019 the No. 37 name on the Player Rater and 35th in fantasy points, so he's already in the mix for a universal third-round selection even if he merely spins his wheels. Keep this in mind as you seek his upside: He made 63 of his 157 starts in the Nos. 6, 7 or 8 spots in the lineup, but he'll be in the top third this year, which should continue to boost his plate appearance and runs scored totals.
