News: 2 hours agoThe Tigers selected Sears' contract from Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.

Spin: The left-hander is set to make his MLB debut Sunday in Kansas City, as he's scheduled to work in bulk relief behind opener Jacob Waguespack. Sears posted a 2.57 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 35:11 K:BB across 35 innings for Double-A Erie before being promoted to Triple-A in early August. He excelled in his two outings for Toledo, striking out 14 in 9.2 scoreless frames.
