News: 2 days agoPorter finished with 27 points (9-17 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 27 minutes in Wednesday's 144-128 preseason loss to Miami.
Spin: Porter had 22 points in Monday's win over the Wizards. He played even better Wednesday, leading both teams in scoring. The 28-year-old has performed at an All-Star level throughout the preseason, and while that trend could continue during the regular season, his durability remains a cause for concern.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Porter thrived in his first season with the Nets, leaning into the lead role to increase his scoring career high by more than five points up to the mid-20s. Porter remains the main option this season even after the trade that brought Julius Randle to town and should continue to produce. The question with Porter is always durability: he has only played more than 62 games twice in his seven-year career.
