Spin: Murray got into double figures in Tuesday's exhibition. The sharpshooter is locked into a significant role for the rebuilding Kings and should serve as a tertiary scoring option behind Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine this season.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Murray enters the season as Sacramento’s likely starting power forward after an injury-plagued fourth season. He averaged 14.0 PPG, 5.7 RPG and 1.6 BPG last season, but shot a career-low 27.7% from three. His defensive production gives him fantasy value even when the shot isn’t falling, while a return to his earlier shooting form would raise his ceiling considerably. Murray still has competition for minutes in Sacramento’s frontcourt, but his two-way role should keep him involved. He’s worth a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.
