News: 2 days agoBrissett completed 21 of 35 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions in Sunday's 36-24 loss to the Giants. He added 18 yards on four carries.
Spin: The veteran QB came into Sunday with only one turnover in the first three games of the year, but Brissett's three INTs killed any chance the Cardinals might have had of stealing a win at MetLife Stadium -- his third came on the final play of the game in the Giants' red zone, as his toss to Michael Wilson instead turned into a 98-yard pick-six by Deonte Banks. Brissett will take a 6:4 INT, and a three-game losing streak, into a Week 5 clash at home with the Lions.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Brissett is back for his second season in Arizona and is currently positioned as the team's probable Week 1 starter. One of the biggest fantasy surprises of 2025, Brissett reeled off nine consecutive top-12 fantasy outings spanning Weeks 6 to 15. He averaged 18.9 fantasy points across 12 starts, which was a big surprise considering his prior career high was 12.9, and that was way back in 2017. Brissett played solid ball, but he's not a major contributor with his legs (260 yards is his career high for a season). He certainly benefited from the league's pass-heaviest offense, a luxury he's unlikely to have with Mike LaFleur now calling plays. Expect the 33-year-old to regress to fringe QB2 production, and keep in mind that it's possible Arizona will turn to rookie Carson Beck at some point this season.
