News: 1 day agoHenry caught four of five targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-19 win over the Jets.
Spin: Henry's seven-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winning score, putting New England ahead 23-16. After not finding the end zone the first four weeks of the season, Henry has scored in back-to-back games. The veteran tight end has been held under 50 yards receiving in five of six contests. He's the definition of a touchdown-or-bust fantasy bet ahead of Thursday's game with the Bears.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Henry has settled in as one of Drake Maye's top targets, having reached 85 targets, 60 catches and 650 yards each of the past two seasons (each ranked in the top 10 among tight ends). A threat downfield and near the goal line, Henry has finished in the top 15 in aDOT each of the past seven seasons and 12th or better in end zone targets in seven of his nine campaigns. Despite the solid usage, Henry hasn't sported much fantasy upside, as he has failed to finish in the top 12 in fantasy PPG since 2020 (he has never finished better than eighth). The 31-year-old has added target competition this season (Romeo Doubs and A.J. Brown), so he's no more than a fringe TE2.
