News: 5 days agoWarren (adductor) was spotted on the field participating in Tuesday's practice, Nathan Brown of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Spin: The Colts won't have to reveal the extent of Warren's practice participation until they release their first injury report of the season Sept. 9, but his presence on the field Tuesday is a good indication that he'll be operating with no restrictions leading up to the Week 1 game against the Ravens. The second-year tight end strained his adductor during an Aug. 19 practice, but the Colts never indicated that the injury was anything that would seriously jeopardize his availability for the start of the regular season.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Warren put together a solid rookie season, but it could've been even better. In 12 games with a healthy Daniel Jones, Warren scored five touchdowns and averaged 13.1 fantasy PPG. In five games without Jones, Warren fell to 6.3 PPG and failed to find the end zone. In fact, the 2025 first-round pick was unlucky in the scoring department, ranking fifth among tight ends in end zone targets (seven) and expected TDs (7.5). Warren finished the season third among tight ends in targets and also had three goal-line carries. The 24-year-old was already a featured target and might see even more work with Michael Pittman Jr. shipped to Pittsburgh. Warren is a quality TE1.
