News: 3 hours agoColeman (ankle) was spotted on the field for the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Spin: Coleman was sidelined for the Broncos' first practice of the week Wednesday due to an ankle sprain, but he looks poised to take a step forward in terms of activity a day later. He's one of three Denver running backs on the Week 3 injury report, though Coleman, J.K. Dobbins (hip) and RJ Harvey (hamstring) all appear set to practice in some fashion Thursday.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Coleman was selected by the Broncos in the fourth round of April's draft. He is a 220-pound back who was highly efficient during four collegiate seasons at Arizona and Washington. Coleman didn't get much pre-contact help (1.80 YBC), but he made up for it after contact (3.73 YAC ranks second in this rookie RB class) and his career 3.4 forced missed tackle rate is best in this class. Also solid as a receiver and blocker, Coleman has three-down ability, but may not get that opportunity until 2027. The rookie will begin his career behind J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey. Coleman should be added only if Dobbins or Harvey goes down with an injury.
