Chris Dagnall, Sanchez Watt fire Kerala Blasters past Pune City

Kerala Blasters beat Pune City 2-0 thanks to goals in each half from Chris Dagnall and Sanchez Watt at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The Blasters moved off the foot of the table with victory over the Indian Super League leaders as new coach Terry Phelan made a winning start.

Dagnall rewarded the home side's dominance with a goal in first-half injury time, scoring from Rahul Bheke's cross after Pune defender Roger Johnson deflected the ball into his path.

Former Arsenal forward Watt then wrapped up the scoring on the hour, firing into the bottom corner.
