      Steaua Bucuresti 0-2 Dynamo Kiev

Dynamo Kiev struck twice in the final quarter to end Steaua Bucharest's Europa League hopes with a 2-0 win in Romania. Steaua paid the price for their first-half profligacy and Dynamo took advantage to finish an impressive campaign in fine style. Andriy Yarmolenko and Jeremain Lens were on target as the Ukrainian side finished top of Group J, with Aalborg securing the runners-up spot. Aalborg lost 2-0 to bottom-placed Rio Ave in Portugal, but that was still enough for the unheralded Danish club to qualify for the last 32 of the competition. Steaua would have taken second place had they beaten Dynamo, but the visitors made the most of their rare scoring opportunities to finish the qualifying campaign with five wins from six games. Steaua had early chances to score through Alexandru Chipciu and Cristian Tanase, while Lucian Sanmartean also went close with an angled drive from 20 yards. But Oleksandr Shovkovskiy was in impressive form in the Dynamo goal and Kiev grew in confidence as the first half wore on. Yarmolenko tested Giedrius Arlauskis in the Steaua goal before half-time and the home side's attacks began to peter out harmlessly after the break. There was 19 minutes left when Yarmolenko was left unmarked 12 yards out to fire home to repeat his scoring act against Steaua in Kiev's 3-1 home victory on matchday two in October. Steaua pushed forward for an equaliser but Dutch striker Lens finished them off with a delightful 25-yard curled shot in the final seconds.

        AaB 1-0 Steaua Bucuresti

Thomas Enevoldsen's second-half winner against Steaua Bucharest handed AaB a big boost in their bid to reach the last 32 of the Europa League on Thursday evening. The on-loan Mechelen midfielder grabbed the game's only goal with a neat volley 18 minutes from the end at Nordjyske Arena, moving the Danish side into second place in Group J - two points above their visitors - with one round of matches remaining.Steaua - knowing victory would send them through to the knockout stage - started much the brighter, with Alexandru Bourceanu curling wide from 25 yards and Claudiu Keseru seeing his left-footed attempt parried by AaB goalkeeper Nicolai Larsen within 21 minutes.Andreas Bruhn called Giedrius Arlauskis into action for the first time just after the half-hour mark, but his effort was comfortably dealt with by the Steaua goalkeeper. Cristian Tanase and Keseru lashed over soon after as the Romanian side continued to look the more likely, and Larsen made a fine double save to deny first Adrian Popa and then Keseru from close range to ensure the sides were level at the interval.Tanase had another couple of sights of goal early in the second period, with Larsen parrying the first and the second sailing over the bar. When the deadlock was broken, though, it came against the run of play at the other end. Kasper Risgard provided the cross from the right and Enevoldsen controlled the ball on his chest before unleashing a fine volley into the top-right corner of Arlauskis' net.Arlauskis had to be alert 12 minutes from time to keep the visitors only one goal down, turning away a Risgard blast.Keseru had a decent opportunity to salvage a point in the 89th minute which would have kept Steaua in the driving seat for second place in the pool, but he shot wide from six yards.ends

          Dynamo Kiev 3-1 Steaua Bucuresti

Dynamo Kiev made it two wins out of two in the Europa League as they beat Steaua Bucharest 3-1 at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium on Thursday night. The Ukrainian cup holders dominated the first half and eventually took the lead through Andriy Yarmolenko's volley just before the break. Artem Kravets' eighth goal of the season doubled that lead and although Raul Rusescu pulled a goal back, Lukasz Teodorczyk sealed the points in stoppage time to send Serhiy Rebrov's side top of Group J.Dynamo almost got off to the perfect start but top-scorer Kravets struck the post from the edge of the area when presented with the chance to shoot after just four minutes.Dynamo eventually broke Romanian resistance five minutes before the interval when Paul Papp was booked for bringing down Younes Belhanda outside the area. The Moroccan international picked himself up and delivered a set piece straight from the training ground - clipping the ball over the defence for Yarmolenko to crash home a volley from 12-yards beyond a despairing Giedrius Arlauskis. Kravets was presented with another chance just after the break but he failed to hit the target. The striker made no mistake though with 25 minutes remaining, taking Yarmolenko's cute flick in his stride following Lens's low cross and stroking the ball home to give the home side some breathing space. Steaua looked to have forced a nervy finish when Rusescu tapped home from Claudiu Keseru's knock-down, but the hosts broke in stoppage time and Teodorczyk slotted home from Yarmolenko's pass to ensure the points. ends
