Christchurch: From Crisis to Cricket World Cup
In February 2011, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck just below Christchurch, New Zealand devastating the city and killing 185 people. ESPN The Magazine's Wayne Drehs reports that as rebuilding efforts continue, the city is once again prepared to be in the international spotlight when they host the opening match of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.
