From the moment the Seahawks acquired LB Ernest Jones IV last October, the most likely window for the two sides to reach a long-term deal appeared to be between the combine -- where his agent could gauge his market value -- and the start of free agency. That still seems to be the case, with GM John Schneider telling reporters in Indianapolis that they've had "positive talks with his group ever since we traded for him, and we’ll continue that this week." Jones' rookie contract is set to expire.
