Former Virginia Tech and Memphis head coach Justin Fuente has been named the CFP’s Senior Advisor for Football, the CFP announced on Tuesday.
Fuente comes to the CFP after a 21-year coaching career at the collegiate level, serving most recently as the head coach at Virginia Tech from 2016-21 and Memphis from 2012-15. In this new role, he will give guidance on operational matters, consult with the FBS conference offices and advise on polices and best practices from a head coaching perspective.
