Sources: SMU guard B.J. Edwards is not expected to play for SMU at Florida State on Saturday. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury since the Cal game on Feb. 25, and SMU has lost three straight starting that day.
Edwards averages 12.7 ppg, 5.9 rpg and 4.9 apg. SMU is considered among Joe Lunardi’s last four in and Saturday’s game looms large. A win on Saturday would likely clinch an SMU bye to Wednesday in the ACC Tournament.
