Sources: Former BYU QB Jake Retzlaff has verbally committed to transfer to Tulane. The school has spent more than a week doing background on Retzlaff, with the university’s Title IX office vetting the transfer. Retzlaff's faced a 7-game suspension for violating BYU's honor code and left school.
That suspension arose after he was accused in a lawsuit of raping a woman in 2023. The lawsuit ended up being dismissed on June 30 with the parties jointly agreeing to dismiss with prejudice.
