Tulsa starting quarterback Baylor Hayes is day-to-day with a knee injury, which occurred in the win over Sam Houston State, per ESPN sources. He’s expected to miss the East Texas A&M game this week for precautionary reasons. He’s in line to be available for Tulsa’s pivotal non-conference game at Arkansas on Sept. 26.
Tulsa is 2-0, including an upset week over Oklahoma State in week 1 that looms more significant after the Cowboys upset No. 6 Oregon.
